Tropical cuisine (in English)

Are you ready to embark on a culinary adventure through the tropics? To talk about tropical cuisine is to talk about a large number of culinary cultures spread across several countries in Africa, America, and Asia, and also to trace the pass of European colonization and the exchange it entailed. Join us for our tropical food course and discover the vibrant flavors and health benefits of tropical cuisine. From mouth-watering fruits like mangoes and pineapples to hearty staples like yams and plantains, you'll learn how to prepare a variety of delicious dishes that are sure to impress your taste buds.  In this workshop, we will delve into tropical cuisine by preparing recipes from different countries to see that they hide common features in addition to being delicious and diverse. Don't miss out on this opportunity to expand your culinary horizons and explore the world of tropical food.


The chef: 

For Karin Requena (@rekarin) there are two very important things in her life for as long as she can remember: communication and food. She have had the good fortune to live from, with and for them. She has trained in both areas with the same discipline, passion and curiosity, and that has led her to accumulate extensive experience in both professional sectors.

She worked in various countries both as a chef, as a language teacher and as a translator, and she have even been lucky enough to be able to intertwine both skills in multicultural training spaces, where she have been able to teach gastronomy courses and workshops in different Languages.

All the projects she undertakes are carried out under the premise that "good service is not a luxury" and she tries to make my clients, students and friends feel satisfied and well cared for.


Please bring and apron and lunch boxes to take leftovers.
